Panel size should be considered as per OEM.
Panel IP is very important point, if panel IP Selection done properly then most of environment related problem will overcome automatically.
Equipment placement / Equipment fitting should be organize as per there supplied documents. (For example if we are fitting breaker then we should follow installation instructions as mention in supplied document by OEM).
Earth bus should be proper sized and placed properly in panel.
All equipment like Choke,Drive, PLC should be grounded to Earth bus with proper size cable.
Color code for different level should be followed. ( like color code for 24v, 220v,11V etc )
Control cable and power cable should by lay separately. ( There should not be any mix-up between Control cable and power cable)
Control supply cables should be shielded cable.
Analog and Digital signal cables Must be shielded cables and these cables shield should be grounded.
Digital signals should be Isolated from field by relay boards.
Analog signals Must be Isolated with Signal Isolator.
Panel cooling is very Important for drive panels, cooling should be maintain as per panel IP and requirement for Drive as recommended by Drive OEM .
Safety is Important point there should not be any open conductor in panel .All bus bars, thimbles, fuse ,transformer power supplies should be properly covered by acrylic sheet.
