There are several reasons of Motor failure due to VFD / AC Drive some common reasons I would like to share here .

1- Incorrect setting of I squire t value in Parameter – the correct value should be set in related parameter ,and the value of motor  I squire t should be provided by motor supplier.

2- Motor winding temperature sensor Like PTC, Pt100 or  KTY84 etc should be interlocked with drive.

IF BOTH of ABOVE THINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE STILL WE CAN DO PROTECTION THROUGH DRIVE PARAMETERS—– TO DO IT PLEASE CONTACT US. (We had tested our scheme at several sites and it is working perfect ) 

3- Other than above 2 causes motor cooling at low speed can be one reason for motor failure to avoid it provide sufficient cooling to motor winding at every speed .
